Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actress most commonly known for her character Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk is a Canadian actress born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay who is producer and director of the drama at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Her father, Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching at work and attending the rehearsals for her plays. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for children. The year 1997 was the time she received an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Her early theater experience includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to pursue her acting career in the month of November 1999. Later, she spent the decade that followed, she relocated into Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she began to meet him in 2007 at an Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. The couple was married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows at a Jewish celebration in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born May 2013, a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk is a variety of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. She was nominated for an award called the Gemini in 2009 to play this character. In 2009 she was cast as the Bo Dennis in the series Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during production of the season three finale, and revealed this to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk was involved in the production of Lost Girl since the third season finale episode was first conceived on January 6 2013, announced on Twitter her intention to return June 4th, 2013 as Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer as the couples with identical sexuality in Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared them Top Television Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk's popularity has resulted in an extensive online presence on social media.
