Michele Carey, known by her birth name Michele Lee Henson, born in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America She is the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr physician and Thelma Brennell Henson. As a teen, she was a pro at the piano, and at only 13 years old she was crowned the winner of an international competition at the Chicago Music Festival. The family moved to Fort Collins in Colorado, and she finished her secondary schooling through Fort Collins High School in 1960.
